AdvenLore is a small publishing press at the beginning of its journey. Below are some of the dreams we hope to grow toward, if the Lord permits. Our dreams are ambitious, but our goal is simple: to grow carefully, honestly, and one book at a time.
Every great adventure begins with a dream.AdvenLore is still at the beginning of its journey, but we believe stories are meant to travel.From writer to reader.From one shelf to another.From one country to another.From one heart to the next.We do not know how far this road will take us, but these are some of the dreams we hope to grow toward—one book, one reader, and one friendship at a time.---Building a Community of ReadersOur first dream is to earn the trust of readers.Not just customers.Readers.People who return because they remember a story that made them smile, wonder, laugh, or think.People who recommend a book to a friend because they believe someone else might love it too.AdvenLore hopes to become a place where readers can discover imaginative stories, unusual worlds, meaningful adventures, and voices worth remembering.Before we can dream of reaching the world, we must first become worthy of the readers who find us.---Welcoming Wonderful AuthorsAdvenLore hopes to grow a thoughtful collection of authors and storytellers.Writers with imagination.Writers with heart.Writers with worlds, characters, histories, mysteries, songs, maps, dragons, odd little villages, and ideas that refuse to stay quiet.We believe publishing should be built on respect, honesty, encouragement, and long-term relationships.Our dream is not only to publish books, but to help authors find readers who truly care about their work.---Growing Through FriendshipPublishing does not have to be lonely.One of our long-term hopes is to build friendships with other independent presses, editors, artists, booksellers, reviewers, librarians, and literary communities.Books travel farther when people work together.A good story should not have to stand alone in the wilderness with one tiny lantern, hoping someone notices.Sometimes stories need friends.So do publishers.---Territorial PublishingOne of AdvenLore’s larger dreams is to explore territorial publishing partnerships.Rather than trying to reach every region alone, we hope one day to work with trusted publishing partners who understand their own readers, bookshops, libraries, festivals, reviewers, and communities.A publisher who knows a region often understands that audience in a way outsiders cannot.Through territorial publishing, stories could travel farther while creating new opportunities for authors, publishers, and readers alike.The goal is not simply expansion.The goal is connection.More readers discovering stories.More authors reaching new audiences.More publishers helping one another grow.That is the kind of future we would love to help build.---IrelandSome dreams are quiet.This one is not.Ireland holds a special place in AdvenLore’s imagination.Its literary history, storytelling traditions, landscapes, music, humor, faith, sorrow, beauty, and wonder have inspired readers and writers across the world.One day, if the Lord permits, we would love to build genuine friendships within the Irish publishing community.Perhaps that means meeting an Irish publisher.Perhaps it means attending literary events.Perhaps it means seeing an AdvenLore title find a home on an Irish bookshelf.However it happens, Ireland remains one of our greatest dreams.The International Dreams Department has been asked to stop mentioning this in every meeting.It has declined.---Beyond the First DreamIreland may be the loudest dream in the room, but it is not the only one.AdvenLore would also love to build connections in Scotland, across the United Kingdom, in Japan, and wherever else stories may find welcoming readers.Every country has its own readers.Every culture brings its own way of seeing a story.We believe that is part of the magic of books.A story may begin in one place, but it does not have to stay there.---Beautiful Books and Future AdventuresAs AdvenLore grows, we hope to explore many possibilities:* Illustrated editions
